This is a great photo project I discovered a while ago on Twitter. "Stormtroopers 365" is composed of one daily photograph, everyday for a year, featuring two stormtrooper action figures in humorous situations. The project was started by some no-name with a hobby in photography, and has since created quite the buzz. In many of the photos, these small action figures are positioned in a way that they appear life-size. Even if you are not at all a Star Wars fan, you will probably find the project very entertaining!

ReplyDeleteI love this series! Its very funny! I also like the idea of taking a photo of a same/similar subject every day and trying something new each time. Its a way to push your understanding of the subject and your photo skills.
ReplyDeletefirst glance i thought they were life size so his idea works quite well...very funny the idea hes using such a popular icon (even if your not into star wars) takes the photography world and makes it more accessible and interesting to those who may have once thought photography is only for art geeks.
