Hiroshi Sugimoto

Hiroshi Sugimoto is a Japanese photographer who uses an 8x10 view camera and incredibly long exposures (his movie theater series uses exposures the length of an entire film). Not only is his work very beautiful, but it is also quite interesting conceptually.
Check out this video of him talking a bit about his work.

It would be interesting to find a string of artists who work with extremely long exposures.
ReplyDeleteVery cool stuff, I'd love to try something similar with a long exposure.
